The goal here is try out several new maps!

Unorganised tournament: there's no commitment, no forum thread, no winner.
Game limit and token costs do not apply here, if you request to be added.
'Large battlefield' setups: 13 to 17 territories each --- New maps only.

If you are keen send a message to @Dima or to @The_Bishop saying:
"I want to join game X with color S, and game Y with color T", etc...
or just "I want to join any and all games with any colours"!

Layout:
All games are 24 hours, deathmatch, original dice, sunny (no fog), no advance cards. Best of 5 to advance to the next round. Here are 5 maps & settings that could be played…because we like all of them and can’t decide when to play them! For the first 5 rounds one of these maps will be randomly picked.

I will accept for first 32 teams that sign up.  I will be using a seed tournament chart. Your position will be the combined rating point total of your team. I will use the latest D12 monthly dominating list to calculate the teams combined rating point total. 

Time Commitment:
This tournament will take approximately 3 months to complete. Make sure you find a teammate that can commit to this length of time. If players are not able to complete the tournament, you can find a replacement teammate with another player of their choice within 48 hours. Otherwise, the team will forfeit the game and the rest of the tournament.

Entry Requirement:
1. Each player will have 50 rating points deducted just before the first game starts. This will be a manual adjustment. An email message from me will be sent prior as a reminder.
2. Each player must have a minimum of 10 team games played or have their teammate vouch for them.
3. Have 1 representative from your team respond to this forum post with the players’ names. Only 32 teams can be accepted so first come first serve. 

Prizes:
You will win rating points (yes, you read that correctly!) ….plus tokens (Donations of tokens are welcomed). The rating points collected for the entry requirement is the pot of points that the winning team wins. Each player on the winning team will receive 1,120 rating points. The second-place team will win 320 rating points each and the third-place team will win 160 points each.  Tokens will be shared in the following way: First place 70%, second place 20%, third place 10%.

There will be 6 rounds. All maps will have 24 hours turns, increasing cards, original dice, sunny (no fog), no advance cards.

Round 1 North America: Deathmatch

For each round, all teams play against each other on the same map and settings. Each team will play 3 games simultaneously. (All 7 games in each round are played simultaneously.) Every two weeks, then the next round will begin regardless if the previous round is complete. This will keep the tournament going. For example:

GAME TWO: Team 1 v Team 4 v Team 5
GAME THREE: Team 1 v Team 6 v Team 7

For each kill your team makes, the team earns 1 point. This does not include killing your teammates. The team that wins the game will earn 4 points. The maximum points won per game is 10 points. The team with the most points will win the tournament. In an event of a tie, the team with the most games won during the tournament will win. If the number of games and kills are equal, then the two teams will win the best out of three in a 3v3 game on the map Zealandia: Deathmatch. Results will be listed here in this table.
