LOST Mafia Game

It’s DAY 1. The day ends in a bit more than 48 hours, at midnight CET time/ 8am Sydney time/ 6pm New York time.

After the crash of the flight Oceanic 815 from Sydney to Los Angeles, a few passengers landed on a tropical island and miraculously survived.
However after the first night, the group found Dough_boy, an American passenger with the throat cut.
Some questions inevitably arised. Who did that? and why?
Are there other people than the passengers of the crash on the island?
Does everyone really want to be rescued?
Is this island special?

- « The Others » (originally 3 players)
- The Soul Mates (I will choose 2 players that will meet night one and find out they are in love the next morning. They can be originally from any faction. One suicides if its soul mate dies.)

Roles have been assigned to players randomly using the Excel function Random.
Each role contains a secret ability that will not alter the game mechanic (No one can transport or investigate someone's faction for instance)
Roles including their secret ability will be revealed when a player is killed.

Any night, ANY player can perform TWO vanilla actions or ONE complex action.
VANILLA NIGHT ACTIONS (click to show)
- #KNIFE your target to kill him.
- #DEFEND yourself against knife attack (works also against multi knife attacks).
- #FISH fugu so as to get one dose of poison.
- #EAT on your own at night to avoid being poisoned the next day.
- #STEAL the gun, poison and/or fake votes from your target.
- #KEEP the gun, poison, and/or fake votes with you to avoid being stolen.
- #GIVE the gun, poison and/or fake votes to your target.
- #DISTRACT your target to prevent him from performing its actions.
- #TRACK your target to see who he visits and is visited by.
- #FAKE an extra vote that will remain secret until the deadline.

The game may seem unbalanced because Town members are not as many as in a usual mafia game but « The Others » and the Soul Mates will have to fight each other, while Townies can play aggressively (fakevote/shoot/knife/poison) as much as the bad guys… so enjoy your freedom.
I’ll add that many actions are based on game theory (#Knife/#Defend, #Poison/#Eat, #Steal/#Keep) thus being an active player looking for info will definitely help you.
