The graphics will be reworked though.

As for the bonuses, Europe is harder to defend and North America is harder to conquer. Finally I decided to keep both at +5 like in World Classic.
For equality Australia must be raised at +3, as it has been done for Africa.

World classic... The daddy of all maps..this being double that an its huge :)...this in my opinion is the map to be considered for the 12 dominators to decide who,s who :)
Luck,is the defining factor of a good strategy

Don't want to start this but, was this the final agreed version? Isn't 3 too much for a 2 border Oz?

(Well, you started it!) I think it's just fine, it makes the thing more interesting and funny. In the end it's in accordance with the other bonuses, they all are a bit higher than "standard" (if standard exists). This one is somehow World Classic style, but really we also have other maps with 5-territory/2-border regions having +3 as bonus.
Unfortunately +2.5 is not possible and there are several reasons why I like better +3, but I will be happy with what people decide.

5 territories, 3 borders, right in the center and one of the few paths from north to south (and vice versa). I'd say +3 is fair.

Ok, then it's fine with me.

I feel some labels are a bit difficult to read, particularly Greenland.

Well, I don't know ... I think I can read it perfectly! Or at least better than other maps.
But if people find it hard to read, we will find a solution.

Well, the labels are clear, the problem is the cluttering. Not much we can do with that though...

Ehm, yes "cluttering" ... I will address these complex words to aeronautic being a native speaker! :P

From my side what I can do is to show what I propose for the capitals:
