I redid the outline for this map because the lines were too thick and blurry. I changed the title because I didn't think the old one fit the theme. I also made a few color and shading adjustments.

I'll wait to upload the update until you guys approve the title change.

Nice work, I definitely like the new title. The shading is better and easier on the eyes and the lines look great. There is however one small issue..it feels like the lines are too angular, maybe that can be fixed if they were smoothed up just a tad.

I would have to completely redo the lines again to fix your 'angular' issue. Not going to do that. Take it or leave it. Is it an improvement or not? BTW I like the 'angular' look, that is why I made them that way.

Ditto. There isn't a map by Fendi or Vexer I don't like.
That being said, I wonder how much of this map you'd be willing to change? I really don't like the textures here, could you make it similar to world ex?

I have always liked the clean look of this map and with the new lines it looks even better. Every map "has" to look rough, so can we please keep this map to look like it is. Just for me? (A)

Personally I am ok without doing anything more to the map for now. But tastes mature and who knows what I'll want to do next year.

I like the new version, I also like the textures.

The only thing that still needs to change is the minimap. Especailly the ocean of the minimap. It doesnt fit anymore right now.

I like a lot this one. Colors and shape and gameplay.
Actually is a map of China and a bit of its environment.
Maybe can the Chinese borders be highlighted a tiny bit just only for geographical accuracy?

Hey, sorry haven't been very active on the site. I like your update Vexer. I've kind of wondered in the past why I never came up with different names that would be appropriate for the territories that are named with a North, South, East or West and think it should be in a future update of the map. The shading in the ocean on the minimap should be reduced. Maybe we could also tweak the texture but I honestly like it the way it is.

I would like to help out but work has been keeping me busy and I was also working on an update for the Dominican Republic Map (I was thinking maybe I should add ports to enhance gameplay but wasn't sure).

Also I'll ask again because I'm still trying to figure it out. Does anyone know of a good way to create smooth outlines on Gimp?

I personally don't use Gimp, I don't know anything about it at all.

In Photoshop there are a few ways to get them smooth / anti-aliased.
1) Use the brush tool and not the pen or pencil, it is anti-aliased.
2) Use a filter called Gaussian Blur ( I use 0.3 ( 1/3rd of a pixel equivalent ))
3) Select size 2 if forced to use a pencil tool, then marquee the area outside the lines and use the Eraser tool over the lines. This is supposedly deleting things within the marquee (outside the lines), but it will partially delete the outer edges of the lines, essentially giving it ant-aliasing.

Can't you just create the map twice as big, and then scale down the final result? Should give smooth lines.
