?

There was a rule change that allows you to always hand in a set after killing someone as long as you have a set. This rule change is however planned to be reverted.

Thanks cireon, i don't like this change,, someone will ruin the game, try to defeat other player, although he won't game,
you have to sure win before defeat someone
You can't win by luck, if u are unluck ,cards are not set in,you will ruin game after defeat someone

You are right thaithai, and if you had been around we might have figured out to change the rule back sooner.

I read 'information and start playing' . I don't see any guide that you can set in cards after defeat someone although you don't have enough 5 cards,

why is this on the tourney thread?
its an excellent rule! it should NOT be reversed to the archaic un-evolved restricted thing made for classic gameplay on the classic map!

i protest this rule reversal concept whole heartedly!

We now play on many maps and that means differing game dynamics , they have discovered through trial and error that the current trade in rule works better all around.

you want some classic rule button in the Game Creation section , i can see it, but then with a warning flag pop up to warn people 'using outdated debunked old rules'

This thread is about team matches!!

Axo, I answered you on that subject in the other thread. You didn't read it.

LOL.
I guess I will have to make the tourney page...since someone will not be here...dnag!
95.5% of the time you kill a players cap before your 2nd turn in... you fail or die next

So,, whats this i read on Tourney game 230234 about Aero leaving? 'someone' will not be here??? wha??? huh???

PS, thanks bishop, and i added a hope that when the admins shift the rules, can it be only for INCREASING games and NoT Capped?

i loathe the coming of the day when i capture a capital, as a last ditch effort, all for the gamble of the cards , and then i get them but i wont be allowed to use them,,
i end up weaker, no way to fortify, and whoever is dominate still has the advantage,,

its just like the real world, those who dominate early get to make the rules to keep them in power, the rule change only serves the rich, not the daring underdog

BTW , fortune sometimes gives a 3 card set when you are sure to die on the next turn, and getting another set is all you got to gamble on , i pity us fools who cant then use them, now they have to stay and defend a sure loss, because there is no reason to dare a conquest for cards,,
We have weeded out a factor that helps the underdog, and a factor of excitement, and are forced to use new strategies and if we become a sitting duck, we stay a sitting duck, we are minus a strategy factor,, ugh,, i cant see any good in this for capped capital games especially,,

its a rule more tailored for classic risk, classic map, and increasing reinforcement setting .

so A.( current rule) as an option and password ? it should be B. as an option!!

B. is the change for the majority of D12 community , the majority will be torn
B. is more appropriate for Increasing games than capped

i highly recommend B. becomes the optional/password one, as this change will likely upset many new players to D12 , and its probably more desired by the hardcore longtime members than the majority , why make waves?
The experienced D12er who this rule most likely appeals to already does more password games.

I would say make B. an optional rule and as a beta trial

nuff said? heh,
