What is clear for me is that D12 is getting every day more the [u]house of the unfairness.[/u] Only "pain in the neck" users receive an audience or a game review. If you kindly ask an help, you will receive nothing! We need another thread to discuss this subject, I think there are A LOT of people with A LOT to say.

First of all you talk about a match that happened a month ago; do you want us to redo your game? It was a completely different event with [i]very[/i] different rules too, so it's not fair to compare it to this tournament, though that's not really the point. What annoys me is your last paragraph, where you claim that the staff are only here to get "prestige" and a "smug feeling"... that is not the case! I've put many hours into this tournament because I care about this site and the community, and while I play to win, I could honestly care less if my team takes first place. If I was only here for myself, why would I be organizing this tournament at all? I'm doing it for you - and I am upset that you claim otherwise because you disagree with a decision I've made. Tell me, how did my decision to try to find a substitute team work to my advantage? I do, in fact, want QUALITY games and that is why I decided to add another team into the mix instead of allowing an automatic forfeit. I want people to play team games and have fun. A forfeit allows neither. It was quite impolite and unfair of you to accuse the staff like you did.

Yes Matty is right, another topic would be better. Sorry I'm the one which went off-topic. Aeronautic is speaking about a multi-game team match organized in this thread since I think it's on the topic. I guess he wants to put in evidence that when a player-banning worked in his disadvantage nobody thought about a substitution or a complete restart which they would have been fair. Now that a player-banning only worked in the disadvantage of the team of the player banned, since it could be consider fair, lifeinpixels put action over it and restarted the game. I got his point, he did that in order to have a good game tournament. Ok. Still discussable in my opinion but not completely wrong. I got his point though and that case is closed for me. My accusations against the Staff have really nothing to do with this tournament and with lifeinpixels. I'm going to start a new thread as soon as I am in the mood to do that. Then I will clarify my point better. Give me time please.

How will the next round look? I realize its still a little while away, but is there a system or is it round robin style?

The next round will be a random pairing of the winning teams with the same settings.

[b]I would like to clarify I new rule regarding missing players, effective immediately:[/b] If your teammate cannot play for whatever reason, or does not join the game within 48 hours, your game will be forfeited and you will be eliminated from the tournament. I am sorry I have to make this rule midway through the tournament. But many people have had strong opinions about this, and I think it is fair as long as players are aware of the rule. I did not make it clear in the beginning and that is why I gave Spartakus a chance to find another teammate. But from now on, if you or your teammate cannot play, you will be kicked from the tournament. I may allow another team to sub in for fun and to let the team that automatically wins still get practice, but we'll deal with that if it ever occurs.

This is still on topic as it is from earlier posts in this thread, but it has no baring on 'this' tournament. My apologies for categorising the staff with the players in an earlier post, I should have separated the 2 parties with 2 separate statements. For the staff I only meant: The staff did not intervene and so they obviously weren't concerned at that point of 4-man team tournaments, which "the proof of the pudding was in the eating"! Else, the game would have been seen as void, due to an unfair advantage gained because of a banned players last action! However, as pointed out, this was a while ago and a different type of tournament and I had no intention of bringing it up until I saw that the same occurrence with the same team (now 2-man team) had a different decision! Regardless, I still bare no grudges nor am I concerned about it anymore! If I offend with my words of honesty, please feel free to defend any actions or lack of actions, anybody involved in that tournament! But not here! Let's get on with this tournament! p.s.
