Basically I agree with Thorpe. It is supposed that your teammate is a player which you trust in, since his faults are your team's faults. No way to escape from that.
But, ok, this one looks more like a friendly tournament than an official tournament, since I can agree with granting a few days to Westchester to find his mate or pick a new one.
But, what about sekretar banned? Knowing the very large D12 tolerance it's easy to understand that he made something really bad. Practically it's like he decided to leave the site. Why did you end the game? It is not my fault if my opponent has been banned. Did you end all the games sekretar was in? I don't think so. There wasn't any rule in this tournament speaking about substitutions. Specially in the case of a player banned, it looks to me such a great grant! It's like you want to encourage bad behaviors. Spartakus had to finish the tourney playing alone. Not very nice, I know, but in my opinion it would have been the right action to do.
I don't want to look biased, because it was the game I was in. Suppose that Spartakus' new teammate will be banned too. Then what? The game will be ended again and he will pick another mate? Oh well, it can be a strategy to avoid the losses. It won't happen, I know, it's just an example to demonstrate that these rules are lacking. I accept any decision but I hope things will be different next time.
D12 stop your tolerance please! I have no problem to be punished if I deserve it. But I want the same thing for everybody here.
