Map Suggestions

I just thought of something, what if someone made an original outline and territories for a map, no artsy stuff, and then we had all the map makers take a small spot to add our own spin to. It would be a map where everyone can work on.

...I don't know how well we could make it blend together but it's worth a try...I think it would be really cool, if we could do it...

I'll do the San Francisco map with you leedog...send me what you've got so far in an email...

we should pick a filter to go over the entire map. that would help blend them a bit. we could also have everyone make and design a territory or 2 then we have someone put them all together

I've been thinking of doing Gettysburg and the London Underground for a while now, just don't have the programs to do anything yet. (And I need to upgrade my OS first) (I know Thorpe... but these things take time.)

Honestly Thorpe I don't think mapmaking will be something that I do on the site. I really don't have the time to review maps on the site with everything that I have to do outside of this game. It was an interesting idea earlier on but I doubt I will be able to keep up with maps now.

...Leedog just posted a third of the suggestions on this topic in one post...I really think people should just blurt out what they think would be a cool map...I know half the time we are totally overloaded but I think it would be really nice to have a pile of ideas to look through when we aren't overloaded...I'm not saying we should do every map that is suggested...

the circuit board idea would be hard to make into a map and have it look right and work right. I can also say that that map would not be popular so it's not going to be worth anyone's time to make.

Lord of the Rings Star Wars Galaxy Skull Island These maps (in my opinion, would be golden in the website's collection) need permission to use the owner's intellectual property. I have done a little investigating to see what I would have to do to try to get permission. 2 of the 3 would have to have letters sent and the 3rd can be done online. I will be more than willing to try if the map makers here will make the maps if we get permission... let me know!!

I have the Lord of the Rings done. So yes Leedog do it!...I got Westeros permission and look what we almost have!
