Maybe light blue color of Byron Sound region need to be edited.

its good, but i always really liked the orginal version. i don't see why it needs an update. the new one has the grainy feel that im not a big fan of

Definitely an improvement! I did not like the graphics in the original very much. I do agree with matty though, maybe a change in textures between the land and the sea would help.

@ Matty, yes, I had one main texture that I used both on the land and ocean.

Here is another update, this time I changed:
- Title, tried to find one that looked similar to the original.
- Edited the light blue region and made it less saturated, per Noxon's request.
- Added another texture to make the land a bit more rough, per Matty's request. And toned down some of the grain like texture, per Marcoxa's request.
- Added a mini-map. (Be nice..this is my first attempt at creating a mini-map.lol)

I think you brought back some roughness with the new texture, so that should keep certain people happy.

I think the minimap looks fine. The title is a bit hard too read maybe, but in general I will refer to my previous comment: I like it.

I have a couple of things to say, but before all, I just should say WOW.

Because WOW, this looks great!!!

Of course, you are missing connection lines, your title is a bit too whobbly, there is a weird kind of vulcano in Port San Carlos, all the text is positioned off, but men lady, this looks awesome.

Here is a small update. I removed the bright area in Port San Carlos (lol @ volcano) and changed the title. In my opinion, I think this is the best font and would rather keep it, this decision has nothing to do with the fact that it took me over 3 hours to find the right font.
I have yet done the connection lines because I don't have the skill to create good lines in photoshop, but I am looking into it.

The pink and purple regions look dirty.

The new title is better but not what I would pick after 3 hours of searching. It's ok unless I can find something better (probably won't have time to).

I think the blue in the ocean is a bit too strong.

Fendi wrote:
@ Vexer, I couldn't really fix the dirty look without making the regions look empty. And is the ocean ok now?

I will try out different fonts for the title each time I upload a new update..It's really frustrating..lol

Everything looks better but now the highlights on the ocean show up a bit too much.

I actually like the effect, but make them a tiny bit less visible would be okay I think. Don't tune it down too much though ;)

Here is a version with the highlights toned down a bit. I have also updated the mini-map and hopefully made Lafonia look less dirty.
