Abstaining is the best scenario.

After death, you have the option to either #exalt or #abase certain players. If you abase you vote for them to die permanently. If you exalt you vote for them to come back to life. You are trying to make it so only people of your zodiac are left. Every time you choose to not kill someone, it increases Chaos's appetite. However, most importantly, if you continually abase then Chaos will grow stronger. We have nearly reached that breaking point.

This is why I'm trying to alert people of the situation in the dark, to hopefully give them knowledge on how to proceed.

Talon, if we lynch Abs we give the CIA the win. We don't know for sure if Abs killed Jkl, it could have been anyone. It could have been Clubs for all we know, it would be a brilliant move for a CIA to kill someone like JKL last night because they know that Abs is going to be blamed and we'd hand them the win. Let's think this through

Rock you get more and more suspicious everytime you sing this song. how many times must you be told it's not just Kill the researchers for Cia/and kill CIA for researchers?!? if that were so the town....... could....... not....... win.

Blue, I have to re-read perhaps, although I worry that in the eagerness to smite Abs we might take our eyes off the ball and lose to the paranoia. I want to throw Abs back down to the dark as much as anyone, but I'd rather we make sure we aren't giving the CIA the win. I will take another look to take into account what you are saying.

sorry - things are still not clear in the dark.

We can't abstain if Ely is going to throw himself into the abyss. Plus, another townie will be killed tonight. So, why not try to kill bad guys?

However, most importantly, if you continually abase then Chaos will grow stronger. We have nearly reached that breaking point. (seems like a never-ending cycle or we all lose)

Please be clear on that lol.

i do not know if the game can be won here in the light if your initial win clause is met. i believe that the lynching and night kills here are just a way to get players into the dark where the elements fight not he factions. (seems like a very elaborate game for that to be the only thing worth happening) i am not sure that closing the window/portal is the best thing. (again seems like a never-ending cycle) i think it is closed when there are only 1 element left in the dark - but there must be at least 2 players left in the dark.(that doesn't make sense to me?) each phase , a dark player is sent back by popular vote and another player is voted out = dead dead gone forever. each player has 2 votes and 1 extra vote he can use once per game. once we come back here i am not sure if we revert back to our original win clause or if we win if our element wins in the dark. i am not sure if it is best to promote the killing of fire members to help win in the dark or would it be better to save fire members til later.

There were many who were intent on killing 2oC. What are peoples' thoughts on that?
