Map Suggestions

It's just as there as it is in the original Risk map.

It's more than a rough draft, but I have it inputted and play it on my map editor i have and it's quite good with 2-4 player dm games. 34 territories, 10 small even regions

Yes we are like the gum on the bottom of the worlds boot....you can't see us but you know we are there to be used to fix a car aerial back on (Kiwi ingenuity is world famous in New Zealand)

War theme map,Canada/USA 1812...at the time the 2 countries were only on East side,the West hadn't been opened yet..great lakes offer natural impasse... Could also use the Laurentian mountains in Virginia an rivers on the USA side an mabe some of the tigger Canadian lakes in the North....photo,s to follow

i think the geography has good potential for gameplay.

I can't load images of my phone..either it can't or I can't figure it out ..anyway.. If you type in...Map of Canada.USA 1812 on Google.. It is the first image I'm referring to..then if u scroll down on goggle ..you'll see border's an boundaries.. The image on top of page an the name,if could be adopted on the map somehow.. Would be a cool theme

PsymonStark,s style of map,imo would be the graphical look I see this as( not to take away from the other different styles of maps by others here)..could do some research an mabe find a actual military map of the 2 countries, that would have been drawn be freehand..give it a real old an authentic look..

Did a little looky at the maps here on site..Hoods West Indies look would also look good I think.an since Hood has already done lower Americas.. It may be more fitting for upper America's to have simpler look..And the West Indies has that old feel to it too.

Italy will be an extra territory, and crimea will give +1 to Ukraine or Russia if those regions have their bonuses....

The line near Luhansk is from the background (not a collecting line), and crimea is attached to krasnodor....

What is the name of the map?

I've yet to decide but the "Black Sea" seems most fitting, do you have any ideas?

It looks quite good, but will need some work to get it up to the standards. If you're willing to improve it, the community will help you if you create a specific thread for the map.

Is there a thread that details why certain maps are discontinued? Like the Realm of Honored Players for example

It's not always mentioned why one is discontinued, but it's usually because they have fallen short of the new higher standards.
