Eeeee. Not terrible and nothing that can't be made better ^^. But definitely will need a lot of work.

The way you have the impassables, there's a lot of places where the whole map can be blocked by two or three territories. That's generally not a great thing. Especially on a bigger map where you want more flow. Some of the regions just need rejiggered so that the they're a little more fair to take and hold. There's 4 3x3 regions and 2 4x4's. A lot of openness.

I want to give you props though for catching the one territory block in the Caucasus and adding the port at Baku.

Yeah after looking at it again some of the impassible are definitely too large, hopefully it can be fixed easily. Do you suggest more large regions or?

Using the icons that are above the text-box where you type:

- click the triangle with esclamation mark;
- click the frame with mountains and sun;
- paste the URL of your image!

P.S. Try also to adjust the image of your avatar, as it is doesn't seem to work!

Oh okay it works fine for me, but I'll try to fix it cause that probably happens to more people than just you, maybe it's too big

In any case Moai, I can see the image you posted by coping the url in my browser, so it is not a great problem.
I copied it and loaded in another image hosting site, just in case someone other has the same problem to see it:

What I can say: with the impassables in place, gameplay is starting to get much better. Probably there were some wise suggestions by Naathim! The map seems to be geographically quite correct, but I can see one river cutted on the way, like it vanishes before getting the sea. That one should be adjusted. Better to draw the river on all its lenght and add some bridges where needed. It's interesting the historical theme of USSR. What year exactly this map refers to? Just to know.

It would be required to see the map with all the circles on the territories, but at the moment the link doesn't work: https://dominating12.com/image/site/large_circles/6.png
And possibly each territory should have a provisional name or just a number to make easier for the others to comment on the gameplay. I fear it would be hard to fit all the game elements in the west side really. Also a provisional title and minimap would be nice in order to get an idea of the possible layout. Even some communist symbols here and there if you want, just to give the feeling.

Point values might need to be changed

The bridge/river on khanaty-mansi is supposed to be the connection for yamalo-nenetsia, it got messed up when I adjusted something and I forgot to change it back.... And I accidentally labeled western Kazakhstan as eastern...
and Bishop I'm guessing 1960s ish

Well, okay I think it's enough as map proposal. I see some potential issue fitting the circles in the west. Let's see what people say now.

I tried to add some more elements myself just to see how it could look. It's only a rough draft though, just to render the idea. This can potentially be a very good themed map.

I have been seeing many good historical/cultural themes proposed in the last days.
I know Hoodlum is working on the Berlin Wall map published in his Map Dabble laboratory:

But I know it requires a special feature of decaying troops. Perhaps the Wall could be rendered as a semi-passable, using the features that we already have: i.e. one way only connections.
