This will be the first round map here? Super awesome.

This is the time before human exist on earth, so how do we travel from one region to another? Teleport?

It won't be round if made into a game map.

I once had an idea of doing a similar map, pre modern land of the Earth.

The suggestion you have here (Pangaea) is from the Early Triassic period about 237 Million Years ago. I know it has the modern countries placed onto it although your version is a bit different in land mass and shape to other images of the same era.

There are lots of geological sites referencing the continental drifts and collisions e.g. http://www.oldearth.org/curriculum/history/earth_history_c1_Lesson5.htm

This sort of explains the whole history of the Earth's tectonics and is fascinating to watch (for some people).

A map of a town could be cool with all the different neighborhoods, if done right a skyscraper could also be cool with a elevator connecting the different levels, I have a lot of ideas but I will keep most of them 2 myself 4 now.

Another World Map? why not!
This would be awesome to have for personal reasons.

World Connected

Original online riskers back in 2000, played an expanded map like this. Probably the first competitive organized settings (ladder games) that lasted many years for (live risk). where it all started. Before pogo, before conquer club.etc..

The game could easily be revisited, with only the drop of 3's (rather than manual placement) being the only difference..and forced trade of 5 rather than 6

8 player domination (80%) ascending (increasing) cards..adjacent,,

It falls in the wrong territory count - i believe tho

navajo nation (click to show)

Another region map that looked like risk map on quick glance. The Navajo Nation is a semi-autonomous Native American-governed
territory, occupying portions of northeastern Arizona, southeastern Utah, and northwestern New Mexico.

On research, I saw that there is a board game called Navajo wars (http://www.gmtgames.com/navajo/map_sample.jpg)

Drew all the exact borders / regions / territory lines and even colour scheme as is, from a PDF file reference, but maybe a gameplay can be made out of it eventually, combining regions / territories and and using the terrain somehow. I'm starting to fill in territory names but the territories on the east and south east in particular it's gonna be troublesome, gonna do it anyway just to have this as a map reference rather than the pdf file.

Pretty soon I'll try to find a way to itemise suggestions, because I feel they get lost in a sea of posts and some people have taken a lot of time and effort to produce a demo which could possibly have potential as being our next new map.

Note to all people suggesting future maps.

Please read Example first post for an idea of how to present a suggestion.
Showing the map's true potential to the map makers will help when they discuss which map to make into the next new map at D12.
Hoodlum's demo above is a much higher detailed demo than we expect here, because we don't expect you to invest too much time in the example, but having a very detailed and highly researched demo like Hoodlum's increases the ability to see the map's potential. It also allows us to see the graphics potential of the person suggesting the map and know whether or not it could be developed by the person who suggested it or whether the map team will need to develop it.

I'm also fashinated by the Native Americans theme. This proposal doesn't refers to any specific wars really, and it is not even hystorical because, if I'm not wrong, it's the current state of the Navajo Reservation, but still it looks like a quite interesting subject for me. I would probably reduce the number of territories and merge some regions if I have to turn it in a risk map.

I also liked the previous suggestion from the Hood, about Chicago, that was in his Map Dabble thread.
https://dominating12.com/forums/3/map-creation/1803/map-dabble?page=18
I know someone think that we already have enough city maps. But currently they all refer to a wide area which includes the surrounding towns. For example San Francisco is only the pink/light-purple region, it should be probably better to call it San Francisco Bay map. Plus, it is geographically inaccurate, and also New York City is not exent from that really.
The one offered by the Hood is the first urban map limited to the municipality only, and it's 100% accurate! I proposed a street gangs war theme, that seems to be pretty realistic for Chicago, but probably it is not exactly what we are looking for right now,

We talked about street gangs.
In their title ( "street gangs", "street wars" ) they are not controversial and are as offensive as any military war, however real gang names are sometimes very controversial and offensive.
