I politely ask all cartographers thinking of starting a new project to first look at the Map Progress page and see how you can help out there first in order to get a "level playing field" to start from.
Yes!! Let's finish some of these long-awaited maps! :D
It is now Day 8. Please submit your Lynch vote, as well as any Role-specific Day actions you wish to perform (countdown).

only just saw that it was takin' off the progress list, was looking to find a progress map to assist.
anyways I think it's a pretty geography and someone should give it a go. I like island type maps.
As for the theme I thought of for it, is the age of piracy..
drew this up while i'm still in that mode with philippines doing the nitpicks.

dimensions are 1024/705  42 territories. added a special theme gameplay ..x marks the spot!

I like the idea and the execution. Don't like the bonus, it feels a bit random.

You still need a spelling check ;)

yup, i'll get to the spell checks, just a bit bored of the nitpicking touch ups :)..

i did research on treasures..shipwrecks/aztec tresures/outlaws etc..
was random placement at first for the idea, but there are quite a few locations of known found treasures and lost treasures in the west indies. thought. well it's part of theme,, x marks the spot/treasure map..pirates

In fact this outline is not from those years, but from the first half of the 19th century.

Jeez Hood, you're knocking out maps quicker than the cartographers!

I won't comment on maps here, as I have to see what the interest and response is.
Also, whether or not it is loved and should go for development, we still have to clear the back log first.

I like this West Indies map. But how many Caribbean maps would that give us? Four?

And is it still a usable idea since the fellow who proposed went off and made it himself as a hard copy?

I'd like to see it done, because gosh it's just so pretty!

I think Mexico and Colombia/Venezuela could use some editing.

And some of the Bahamas and the actual east indies could be made a little less wriggly looking lol.

Moon map?

I think it would lend itself well to the circle to circle gameplay like on the new Switzerland map. Put the territory circles in the different craters and divide it up into regions.

Hello. I'm an illustrator and am interested in contributing a map based on the Legend of Zelda. I just wanted to ask if this would be a welcome map or not before investing time into it.
Thanks!
