Map Suggestions

I feel as if all the sections of Australia as well as New Zealand would make a decent map.

Biggest countries, regions, areas we're actually missing? People always seem like they really enjoy playing on their home territories. So why not do some maps that are home to lots of people? India, South America (there is Brazil map though), Russia(in development I guess) , China (there's the East Asian one, but it's pretty generic), Middle East (Urgul's UAE map is up for grabs), Canada. I think I might like to try and lay the groundwork for an India map, something like this dmaps India, with 25-30 or so regions. Probably would include Sri Lanka Nepal, Bhutan, and Bangladesh. Leave out Pakistan and put the mini map up in the China region. http://d-maps.com/carte.php?num_car=16644&lang=en But I'd be willing to do any of the others if there's somebody who really wants one area done.

I have already started an India map naathim, would you like me to send it to you to collaborate? I have only done the map size and shape so it will be simple for you to work out the territories and game-play. It currently also incorporates Pakistan & what used to be Burma, now Myanmar, as well as Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan & Bangladesh.

how about a map of the brain...could be einsteins or leonardo da vincis...maybe dracula. Also how about a map of a famous painting (the last supper w jesus and disciples or something)

Definitely not! All those requests would; (a) not suit the site at all. (b) offend some people.

fair enough, a none offending painting then, there is plenty i suppose,and it would make a nice background. i mean when you can make space things why not a painting

it doesnt evn have to involve gameplay...lets say u make a europe map in the 1800 hundreds, u could have as a backdrop picture or part of it a photogragh or painting as backgrouund...that would give a sense of the period i think, and i imagine u wizards of coding, it wouldnt necess be to hard to make..

Would there be any interest in a Chrono Trigger or Chrono Cross map? Besides being among the greatest RPGs ever made, they feature interesting worlds that would make for unique Risk maps. The world of Chrono Cross, the El Nido archipelago, is quite beautiful with a tropical theme. The video game mechanic of travelling between two parallel universes could be utilized in the map in very interesting ways. The world of Chrono Trigger, while more simplistic due to its SNES origins, would nevertheless make a great map. The map could be a combination of territories from several different timelines, in reference to the video game.

I was thinking of the second map, since it would allow for more flexibility in creating territories from both the Home Universe and Another Universe. As for Chrono Trigger, the general map looks like the following. They would all be connected via the End of Time at the centre of the map.

I really think someone should work on a Cheese Wheel map. Having a pizza for a map would be pretty awesome and I would like nothing better than to see in the game log; pepperoni attacks green pepper killing___ losing___;)

This has been attempted before... by me!! It wasn't the most decent of attempts... :S But it was my first map, and it was done on paint.
