Welcoming new members and steering them right.
Consideraton for new players. 0-50 games.
These players are learning the interface, maybe learning how to play risk, adjusting to maps / settings, time limits..sametime/capitals/teams etc.
They may join a game with the wrong settings, and make mistakes. May not realize the site is moderated like others aren't, have not much of an aware or care factor.
Play emotionally, aggresively. *Remember too that the board game RISK is set cards and is played more aggressive to increasing cards. If they know risk, it will take some games to adjust to increasing cards.
These players may join with friends and play casually and think nothing of teaming/favoritism and the seriousness of others who play a fair game and what we want at d12. Don't be shy to give out some advice to these 0-50, and maybe steer some in the right direction early.
Get to know them, and promote sportsmanship.
They can be easily spotted with a basic rank. You can double check by clicking their profile and view how many games they have played.
Edit by Matty: Another thing one could do is to give them a link to a strategy-tips topic.
