By the way, I have played enough mafia games to not be stupid enough to make this big of a false claim this early in the game. Why would I want to die within the first 2 phases?? If you are town, please vote Mada and you will see that I am trustworthy. After which, we will know that some of those who chose to vote against me are probably not town.

Regardless, even if I could get a free town lynch in this phase by lynching madagascarter (who is not town), I would be outed and killed in the following night/day phases. It makes absolutely no sense for me to lie about this.

oh yeah, i thought the jobu mistakenly sending his vote via PM was suspect too. could be that he is in a CIA/Researcher chat. maybe it is, maybe Mada was suspect about that too, but he just had to re: mention it..distraction perhaps.
Anyway. my lynch is set on Mada still at this point. I will be back to work soon, after having a lengthy break.

i too thought mada was yoga due to the astral plane comment.

In my play history of previous Mafia games, I have made tons of lies, but never out here in the forum this publicly, and never so early in the game about something this big. Why would my general play-style change on a whim? It just wouldn't make sense and it isn't practical even if I am a part of the mafia. To all of you who are town, lynch madagascarter.

I am a Town so I don’t see why JKL is set on lynching me. That would be a stupidly powerful sleep ability if every time he slept, he gets a identity of a non townie. And I know how much thought went into this from V98. He wouldn’t throw a game away like this. Dreams are terribly unreliable and we should get more info on the reliability of dreams. There is a religious book in my library. Maybe it’ll mention evil dreams?

Abilities - I don’t want to reveal absolutely everything because otherwise I become a target. But I can Open Library, with some perimeters I can see things in the astral plane (not saying which or the CIA could try and stop me) and some nights (not saying which) I can perform a protect action. I have one more one time ability that I would like to keep hidden as it may make me a CIA target

Being the Librarian does not mean that you are town. I know which of the two (CIA or Researcher) you are but I will not reveal which because I don't want to give your team a leg up if I do end up being lynched. You're revealing information that has no real meaning as it pertains to you role as mafioso except as padding because you know that what I am saying is factual.

The real question is why did only jkl get something from a sleep? What is your role jlk that makes YOU so special? You’re gonna have to come up with something good

He probably learn things about people dreaming through astral projection and couldn't monde Brain JKL for some role related reason.

PS: Town winclause is public and unclear

Even if CIA/researchers are hostile to us, they probably care about us not reaching our win clause

jkl - agree w mada - you have said too much to not tell all. if you are that well informed and valuable to town - maybe somebody will protect you to keep the information flowing.

i reckon it might be an ability. maybe he happened to get lucky and chose madagascarter, that's really unlucky for mada. i kind of doubt that virt would just randomly give out a revealing dream to disadvantage CIA/RESEARCHER right from the get go.
I suppose only JKL will admit to it being an ability, but admitting to it would put a target on his back from those that won't want to be revealed. If mada is lynched and does rock up as CIA/RESEARCHER, then a doctor could protect him.

Just lynch Mada and you will see that I am town and Mada isn't. If you lynch me, you lose a teammate and have given the opposition a leg up.
