Romeo & Juliet Mafia - Game Thread

A Socialist regime has been implemented.[/spoiler] It is now Afternoon 1. Please conduct any actions you wish to perform. Afternoon 1 will end in 24 hours (countdown). [spoiler=Afternoon Actions:]• #LYNCH [player]: choose a player to be lynched, once every afternoon phase (in forum thread). • #BUY [item]: choose a store item to buy (via PM to host). • #SELL [item]: choose an item in your inventory to sell (via PM to host). During the next morning/afternoon phase, the first player to #BUY that item will receive it from you (you see each other’s masks).[/spoiler] Updates on account balance and inventory coming out shortly. The last number in the account balance list is your current account balance. Please let me know via PM if you think I've made a mistake.

If not, we'll either run into 1 of X possible problems (I think).[/quote] to me anax has not been pushing for control - others have been encouraging him to give specific direction to the rest of us based on his experience with this game format. after his initial statement that gave advise to benefit the town, the leadership role has been thrust upon him. i agree w the accountability statement - count the costs and plan accordingly. don't try to use the excuse of lack of coinage or other limitations to back track on a statement. the statement of what you are going to do if running or being elected should be the standard by which you are judged. anyway that is for 2 days from now. now we lynch vote and tomorrow we use night actions. a couple of people (1 more if you count me and my mistake) have already done suspicious things as has been pointed out. i would like to add 1 = hood sent out pms to all - he said by mistake due to not reading the rules = maybe [b]or[/b] maybe he is mafia and since he already had a mafia chat group going he just assumed he should get chats going w all others. did everyone get a pm form hood?

All caught up now. I am new to this game, and I am somewhat confused on all the rules and game mechanics. But I am trying to read up again and have more of an understanding of the game. I think that R4W is fishy. Why would anyone share 2 different roles? Seems risky if they’re town. But could cause confusion if they are mafia. Would lynching them be beneficial? Also, I think it is safe to say that I am a member of the town. Whatever benefits the town, I am all for.

I am not, at the moment, in favor of lynching anyone today. This is our first full day really and I don't know that we have enough information yet. I do agree that it appears that Anax has taken the lead role and I am fine with that. I just want to have more info before the bloodletting begins because in the past three of these we lynched townies first.

On the one hand, it's good the rich people don't gain money from their huge stack of stuff and have to spend their money way before they really know what they're gona need exactly, but i agree that they will find more way to spend their money than a peasent with 2/3 coins who won't be able to save for a bigger purchase.

I'm torn between voting for Tenn as Neutral, R4W as Mafia possibly posing as town or 2ofC for his running for election gaffe. If R4W really is town and really is Capulet as he said with lots of money, it kind of hurts House Capulet, no? A nice target for Mafia to steal some coins from the rich braggart while eliminating a townie.

yes - he has a Beige mask on now why would you want to lynch the only person sharing info and the only person that you know is not mafia and only has goodwill in his heart and role assignment
