Important:
I hereby declare that the Shopkeeper will be afforded a loan of 1 coin should they desire to #RUN FOR ELECTION during Night 0. The Shopkeeper will pay back 2 coins at the end of Afternoon 1 if they choose to accept the loan.

I think we just got screwed, Anax :(

Everyone note, I went with it and ran BEFORE the amendment to the shopkeeper coin thing. I already PM'd Viry that I was running. Should I cancel? Should I still run? Should I change my platform? Input welcome from all! I guess I am now a candidate for the people ;)

I would prefer to run Socialist because it makes the most sense for town but I don't want to step on any toes and/or cause problems for town so I picked the only option not taken to go with Anax's plan (now sabatoged;) ). I still have time to change my choice or even withdraw due to the new circumstances.

Talk to me people! What do you want?

It looks like we have only 5 plus hours left so unless something changes before I fall asleep and I post the changes here, everyone knows what I have commited to.

Since the plan to get rid of the Shop Keeper can't work now, we go back to the beginning and send 2/3 people running for elections and checking houses.

2ofclubs is running capitalist
Elysium can run socialist

Just woke up and caught up, all of that is fine by me. Elysium and 2ofClubs can run and check houses. Also this is my first game ever of magic so sorry if I mess something up.

Maybe me and TLM then? I'm just struggling to trust anax as giving good info would definitely be a mafia ploy to get us to trust him. Village would also do that too though.

Getting caught up on the reading this morning and I wanted to say something about this quote above. This is my third mafia game and one thing I've noticed is that in the previous two, village killed village for the first several rounds because we could not unite on trusting anyone. (Also, we lost the last one because I killed the wrong man). Either way, I don't want that to happen again. I am sure there will be mistakes, that's part of the game, but I am willing to listen without starting off the super suspicions right off the bat. That's why I chose to stay home for the first night phase. Just wanted to say that. I don't know who to trust right off the bat at the moment, but what I am reading so far from Anax and Elysium seems to make some sense, so for now I will back that plan. I reserve the right to remain skeptical of course, but I think there is some merit to what they are suggesting. I will vote whatever is best for town. We lost the last two, let's win this one!

I guess I just read most of what I should know. Funky plan by Anax to annoy V98 - I like doing such things too, ghehe

I figure that for the first election, the regime doesn't matter much, for those thereafter... it'll probably be in our favour to either have a trusted capitalist, or just a socialist, when we can't be too sure about affiliation.

Astounded and happy to see theres 6 pages of input already!
