You are right spammy, I have only played this map a couple of times and each time, somebody has remarked on the confusion of that port.
I have just received the source file from Fendi and will adjust the port position to make it more intuitive.

Just curious...but since Panama has the panama canal, shouldn't it allow for the "oceans to talk"? So maybe if you own/control panama, you can then use any port on any side to attack/reinforce a port on the other side.

I think it's a good idea.
