I'd like to see that version again but with the opacity of the ocean's texture layer lowered or try a different texture. The texture looks like rock which doesn't exactly fit with an ocean. I also think you should add some sort of shading layer to the ocean. I think that an ocean similiar to the one on the United States map would suit this map well. I can even get you those layers to manipulate and play with if you want to try it on this map.

I really don't like the papery ocean or the inverted version. I also liked the territory colors better before matty asked you to modify them.

Try the saturation on the land (up & Down)...the brightness also...maybe the contrast...whatever it takes to have the map flow with one style. Play with the layer as overlay...or any of the other settings,

Try it with the texture layer also.

The second thing is the ocean is not part of the land and should seem like it is in the background and not just a different color than the land...ocean looks like it is another territory right now.

The third thing is that the mini map bonuses should be easy to read...you have done this.

The forth thing is that it should be easy to use the region names in the chat..."So Thorpe ...you are going for Bosna i Herzegovina & Crna Gora?" Wow what a chat full!

The Style of the extras...bridges...boats...text fonts...Title of Map...and sometimes even the texture and color needs to be from the same time era.

But if you get the top four you have a map that is really close to being done.

I hope this clears up what I mean by "Flow with One Style". Of course this is what I look for in a map...but I am old!

The ocean is better.

I forgot to mention before but I an fine with the numbers on the mini map. Also, it is not a requirement to have the region names on the mini map (though it is preferred) and because your region names are so long it may be better to leave them off of this map. Once a player owns a region you can find the region name of the region the own in the log when they receive troops for owning that region.

I don't like the color of the border around the mini map.

The title is still bugging me. Are my eyes bad? because it looks blurry at first glance but when I get closer to the screen it is clear that the edges are sharp. I think it's the glow around the text that is the problem. I don't think it needs it anymore since you changed the background. Can we see a version without it please?

Matty "The Eye" and Vexer "Mr. Picky" need to comment on this update...but not sure they will like the dead zones color or texture...I would like to see it darker...but who knows it is a nice change...still pulls my eye to it, but not as much.

Mini-map looks better without the text!
