Ok this is odd as far as criticism goes, but I've been playing SOOO many small caps games lately. I like that you made spacing pretty even, love you can hold territories and still get out, but one more thing you have to look at:
Consider each player eventually takes their region for bonus. NOW look at your caps and see if their escape paths are equal. Like 2 player, the west cap will be blocked by just Banja Luca if they took a bonus, and there's a 50% chance they have that on the drop. Where the east cap has 3 possible escape routes if they take their bonus.
Yeah that's pretty picky I know. But I have help!
2 player:
You can move the west to Dalmacia, giving them 2 outs with a bonus
3 player:
South cap up one to Dikiti Maki...
East cap one to the left to Lovech to even the distances - shorter one, makes for more active game too
4 player:
East Cap to Erdine (this evens up the distance from east to south as well - all others are 4 steps, this one is 5 steps right now)
5 player:
I can't think of anything, Sridisnja Hrvatska is just screwed if trapped and everyone else takes a bonus. Oh well!
Non issue on 6 and up, playing for bonus would get you killed by a neighbor pretty easily as card value goes up very fast with 6+ players.
6 and up are all 2 steps from each other, so well done there. This will be played A LOT by me and Muz 4 player. So really make sure 4 player is perfect hahaha! Because I'm selfish like that.
Looking at these caps in such detail has made me really appreciate how good looking this map is now. Great work.
