Last game's taking so long, sorry guys. I remember Vexer having said somewhere this kind of mini tournaments should be played with 12 hour per turn, and probably he was right. We have got again 1 game out of 4 taking much longer than the others. Tha fact is that if people only play in the evening and they all live in different places of the globe, then the game doesn't run. So try to be responsible guys and check your turns twice a day, please.

Sygmassacre is the only in that game that has already won one, so potentially with another win can be the winner of contest. All the others are also fighting for the access to the Final and in that case the winner of them will concur in the Final against supiachao, Matty and Sygmassacre.

Game A = http://dominating12.com/game/601173 = in progress
Game B = http://dominating12.com/game/601178 = won by Matty
Game C = http://dominating12.com/game/601185 = won by supiachao
Game D = http://dominating12.com/game/601187 = won by Sigmassacre

This tourney is taking much longer than what was requested to!

I suggest for the next experiment to only play Domination with increasing cards, it's a guaranted anti-stalemate setting.

I don't see that game ever ending. :( We are well beyond two turn cap strength. Even a 3 set turn in is less than some caps

Game A suspended for stalemate. Alive players are now voting for the MVP which will skip to the Final.

So finally we have the fourth finalist! Congrats cbt711, elected MVP of the game by majority.

For resuming, the four winners are:

Game B = http://dominating12.com/game/601178 = Matty
Game C = http://dominating12.com/game/601185 = supiachao
Game D = http://dominating12.com/game/601187 = Sygmassacre

Here the Final Game:

Congratulations Lieutenant Cbt711!

3rd test would be Domination only, being the only format that garantees fast games and no stalemates.

This one here (game 609451) is a domination game, and could possibly become a stalemate. People are doing daring stuff, so maybe it'll end, but if this was a d12 game and people would be more conservative this would stalemate I think.

Also, I'm trying to stop playing for a little while (no time/energy), so I'll skip this one.

Oh, and, CONGRATULATIONS CHRIS!!!

Matty, that one you mentioned is my experiment playing Domination with a large amount of territories and capped cards, but as I had already declared myself it would have been better to play it with increasing cards (no capping). So it was already supposed in advance that it could be stalemating, but really it is surprising for me that only 1 out of 4 of those games is taking long, and still I cannot call it a stalemate, it's just moving slowly. Everything is about chosing the map and the cap correctly sized for the number of players. That one was not the best anti-stalemating setting on purpose, but it may possibly result in a more epic game.

But here I'm proposing increasing cards for the 6p games. The final I don't know, it seemed to work fine with the cap at 12.

Yes BIG congrats to Cbt!!
Maybe I did not proclaim his win with the same prestige as it was for Maafi's but sorry I couldn't find other words than a simple "congrats".

That one was the 1st edition and everything was more exciting... But what discouraged me a bit is one stalemating game slowing the whole tourney for the second time.
This time even more! (also I don't know why people played so long before calling it a draw)

That's why for the next edition I propose Increasing Domination only (fast games, no stalemates) possibly with Unlimited fortification (so who fails the shot can retroop better).
Anyone want to try it? Especially the highest ranks of the site are invited to join!
