Announcement

There is something going on with major coin manipulation in which you can spend 400 coins on votes and tomoz just spend 10000 coins on votes to counter act your debt. Nice loop hole.

Can I restrict this to a maximum of loaning 20 coins (that aren't yours) per Winter & Summer phase.

Yeah, I'll get to posting current results and answering all your Questions. Also lost an autosave of a coin count, so I've got to fix all that

Umm...What the...now?

How would ANYONE get that many coins? It sounds to me more like debt manipulation might be going on.

Well I'm exaggerating things massively. But under my previous system you can vote a lot and go into debt, you then have that many votes on you for the next summer phase. Well then the next day you just go even further in debt by borrowing more to counteract all the votes from the bank.

Oh snap! It sounds like some people will have to do some last minute scrambling!

I would hate the game to be ruined by a loop hole and as long as this wasn't done in any previous phases making it a little unfair and if it hasn't, then, it seems fair to put the kibosh on it before it does mess your wonderful game up.

They are using money they don't have. If you manage to accumulate a lot of coins, you can spend massively, but if you are spending 30 coins on votes and you only have 6, then you go 24 coins in debt. So 24 votes on you next phase. No problem, you'll just spend 90 coins on votes the next day to counteract the 24 votes the treasury put on you. It's stupid and unfair. So I'm putting a cap on how far in debt you'll be allowed to go.

Ha, ha. I bet you can't process this! How much time did you and your 'peeps' spend trying to manipulate the vote?

There was no ridiculous debt from the last phase that will be punished for such rules. It's just when some players are telling me, they wish to spend 40 coins on votes... This way you can still creep your debt up slowly if needed but consequences actually occur
