Right, I have checked and double checked. Pdorward17 has been lynched with 7 votes. I don't usually do this but Lolf had 6 votes. However I think I'll mod kill Lolf anyway. Which I was reluctant to do as Lolf had the assassin role, and if lolf was active could steer the game how I wanted it to go however I was just accepting the highest bids for the assassin anyway. The beautiful thing that happens here though is this is exactly what happens in the books the way these 2 people die. (These 2 players were Tom Natsworthy and Hester Shaw the main 2 protagonists of the entire mortal engines Trilogy).
Anyway, the storyline of the double death.
Movement had been detected in the ruins of London. In reality Paul was in the final stages of building his new city. A city that didn't ride on wheels but a city that glided upon the magnetic field of the earth. As launch date grew closer it became more and more difficult to hide. In fact it was Madrid that first noted this movement and alerted the other Traction cities that they thought there was a Green Storm Base in the ruins of London. The Green Storm when they saw the Cities gathering thought they were attacking Batmuhnk Gompa so prepared their armies for retaliation and all at once there was a full scale war. Natalie Dents (I genuinely forgot to put her on the opening page lol. Lolf didn't notice.) was watching the chaos develop but only one thing was on her mind, the safety of Paul. She darted into the scene determined to get Paul out of there (they had been lovers a long time ago) but by the time she found Paul it was too late. He was dying. He had a bullet in his chest, life was draining out rapidly. Paul thought he was seeing Natalie greet him to the Sunless country, his final words were, "Natalie... I've missed you," as he reached out a weak hand to hold her face. Natalie begged Paul to stay with her blocking out the rest of the war, but a volley of bullets splintered through Natalie's body. Weak as Natalie was she lay down to her final resting place, hand in hand with Pauls. Everyone knows that lovers who die hand in hand will not be separated in the Sunless Country.
Pdorward was Paul Mayor of London, He wished for peace and had an inspect and mystery ability he never got to know.
Lolf was Natalie Dents - Assassin , neutral and freer of Slaves which I controlled his Assassin based on Money and he never got to free slaves.
The good news is, that there will be a new assassin who will not be part of the game but can still be bid for and can still make kills! Hooray!
