This is my first time playing so I am a bit hesitant to get really involved. I don’t know the tendencies of my fellow players yet. However, it really is quieter than I expected. I explained this to some of my workmates in laundry: Abs’ power was doubly harmful against mafia, as he can take away abilities of only mafia (according to him, at least). Taking away votes from prisoners is also bad for us, but it would make sense for mafia to push hard for Abs’ death, as losing their powers greatly decreases their chances of winning. I’m not ready to vote for anyone yet. It’s way too early to start a ‘campaign’. That would be unjust.

So despite the fact some are guards and some are prisoners, the whole prison is in lockdown. Not even the guards can go home. So they have a cell assigned to them.

BUT if you look at Abs' role PM posted after his death, it says nothing about only taking abilities from mafia. He takes from whoever he beats at rock-paper-scissors. They are the only ones who can kill. I shouldn’t go barking up a hypothetical though. It would probably come down to the power distribution, which we won’t truly find out until everyone’s dead. I think it’s safe to say his power was dangerous to both sides, so it’s not clear cut to positively declare someone as a mafia for pushing for Abs death. I will remember the tone, though.

Just a quick question from an outsider. These mafia games do look intriguing, BUT i ve always declined since it seems like u ideally have to be online several times 24/7. So is that the case? As im not the proud owner of a smartphone and hence dont have internet access all the time - (yes, dinosaur), that could be a HUGE problem, if the game is like so. So questions: 1. Can u play this game with only logging in, say once a day? I doubt that would be optimal, but maybe? 2. How long does a game usually take? - (reason of course, the longer it is - the higher chance of "missing a turn"). 3. Optional question: If u do miss a turn, (even if only by a few hours), what are the consequences? Yes i can almost figure this out myself: The voting stuff, influencing the voting stuff, night/day actions. I can almost deduce that would possibly suck for the other plys - just like skipping turns in RISK games can do.
