I do think @@bluegoetz makes an interesting point. Other than deft leadership skills, what other evidence do we have to place so much trust in Anax? [b]#Lynch AlexCheckMate[/b] If we maintain this line of play, Alex dies and is actually the shopkeeper...if the shopkeeper role passes to Anax, then we will need to kill Anax the following afternoon, right? Who is the ideal character/role to hold the shopkeeper mantle? Would it be safe with anyone? What if Alex convinces us he is not mafia? (Btw, I don't understand any of the insights shared about the shopkeeper role based on other games.)

4 votes on me already and I've heard there's been 2 extra illegal votes bought Seems likely it's indeed the mafia going after the shopkeeper; would be strange to assume some other group/random people to be this organised. Would someone be so kind to collect all information that's been posted (80 pages here..) on/by/about Bluegoetz (or someone else)? Perhaps I can piece something together about his mask/activities/purchases.

if we put more votes on you alex, will you go through the 80+ pages yourself?

i see some players trying to play. kinda don't want another invincible role to win, or get far in this game without some work

also, don't you think mafia would rather kill you than to organize to lynch you? or do you think anaxagore is mafia, and he has organized his sidekicks to buy illegal votes while he sticks to his story of being the reluctant shop owner. or do you believe the mafia want anaxagore to inherit the shop so they can target him?

and i see you are trying to feed anax on his theory about bluegoetz. i see a few players playing to his ego :) i do it sometimes, when i'm mafia. those players are in my notes. what shall we do anax? <--- lead the way

btw mada, good save. i was deadset that you were the shopkeeper. before that, i suspected it was ely with the 'shop keeper wasn't out' (beige mask wasn't out). he was right tho, shopkeeper be saving up that $ to kill peeps.

I don't know why town reisel would say something like that. This is really suspicious imo. I believe Alex is not lying about the fake votes and mafia has changed strategy and wants me in the shop to get me lynched right after. If you are town, whether you are in my house, or not, starting a conflict is a bad idea as no one will have a clear idea who what's going to happen. Mafia will completely control the lynch as they will just pick the good side of the battle. They will make sure Capulet and Montague people are always balanced to prevent any side to win over the other. And once they outnumber us, it's over. And everyone who has played with me knows i'm town. Until now the town has completely managed the game. We got rid of one neutral, know the Shop Keeper, I'm not trying to beat the other house, so don't be stupid and help the mafia start their war.

i'm pretty certain mafia is included within these players: rheisel, Hoodlum, Bluegoetz, marion, Mdhaglund

i think we should let you own the shop so then you can help with killing mafia. although you may be a target, you can still win with your faction in an honourable death. this is what you signed up for in this scenario when you ran for mayor. you are infact causing the town rift if you keep the neutral alive.
