Spoiler (click to show)

You are Friar Lawrence, Franciscan Friar and friend to Romeo and Juliet.
You are a man of great faith and prayer, and expert in the qualities of plants, both medicinal and harmful. Since hearing of Romeo’s love for Juliet it has been your prayer that the feud between the Montagues and the Capulets would be ended if you were to unite them in holy matrimony. But for now, the priority is to survive long enough to marry Romeo and Juliet once the power struggle is over.

Win clause: Survive with Romeo and Juliet until the House of Escalus (mafia) is eliminated, or survive until the House of Escalus and hostile neutrals are eliminated.

Am I the only one who thinks this role is fishy?

While killing this character (Friar) will be a sure bet in the future, killing marion is not even 50/50 shot at getting mafia.  I won't change my vote unless we hear something convincing.
I don't see anything fishy about that role, especially since the reason for not being able to play is a good one. Why leave the game for good reasons and post a fishy role PM?

Your comment now seems fishy...

I must have missed that post. I don't feel on the same page with anyone so far.

Remlburc shared the role the day before withdrawing.  I don't know. I agree. It seems if a lot was happening IRL that they wouldn't have time to mess with the role.

I made this same comment earlier Ely. Seems like you are working on a case against me. :)

Nope, just that you, Rock and 2ofC were all on at the same time and were trying to pick apart my posts/claims with very weak and flimsy logic. Mafia being on at the same time and coordinating character assassinations is a common strategy and should not be overlooked. Especially with you all being on again at the last minute before a lynch;)

Maybe we just live in the states?  But, I like your defense.  I was thinking that Rockbert was much more in step with you. He would acknowledge my point, and then get back in line.

I think 2ofclubs has been pretty quiet, which is odd. I missed the part where he agreed with me. Frankly, I am sometimes not sure what he means. He's a wildcard of sorts...the spice in the soup...kind of like Tennessee.

well we have 40 minutes to decide. Marion should speak up now. Lynching Rem is an insurance policy at this point, we have that in the bag if we need it. I don't have any evidence Marion is mafia, but we don't have any proof she isn't either. I will vote with the majority on this. I am not solely into lynching Marion, I was hoping the vote would apply pressure to find out what she's doing.

You are Lady Montague, mother of Romeo Montague, and member of the House of Montague (Town).
You are a proud and influential woman, and you hate the Capulet House. You worry about Romeo, who moved away from home without explanation. However, you are currently more preoccupied with the great opportunity for the House of Montague to increase its influence after the death of Prince Escalus… as long as those Capulets don’t get in your way.
You start with 10 coins.
You earn 2 coins at the end of every afternoon phase.
Your vote during elections and lynchings is worth 2 votes.
If Romeo is killed, you gain the ability to #USE a Sword on [mask colour] to kill a player each night. If the player wearing that mask colour is outside, you will attempt to kill them if they are not a Montague. If they are carrying a Sword and are a member of the House of Escalus or the House of Capulet, you will be killed instead.
Win clause: Eliminate the House of Escalus (mafia) and all hostile neutrals, while outnumbering the House of Capulet.
