Thanks for all of the clarification. I don't see ill-intentions, just needed a refresher. No worries. This site has helped keep me connected and closer to many people during the pandemic. Especially the team games on the Risk side of things. :) I also don't understand the move to Capitalism. I prefer to keep the lot of you economically hamstrung. Despite the success of the Free Market irl, I am not seeing how it provides an advantage for the town so far in this game. The poorest of the poor have yet to buy items. I am hoping someone secretly runs for Socialist. Remember, you do not have to announce you are running in the public forum. You can just DM Virt to make that move.

I think the idea of capitalism (or at least why I am running for it) is that the mafia bought and used their items already (false votes) so would be most benefited by Socialism since they have few or no items remaining. The townies however most likely still have items and therefore would be most benefited by capitalism.

Tennessee just mentioned he wouldn't be lynched yesterday... no matter what... don't know whether it's truthful; but if it is, I guess there may not have been any fake votes in play... so that money could still be stockpiled (it also feels odd to me that mafia/some(one) people decided to get fake votes for a day 1 lynch... quite unlikely you'd want to influence that lynch in that manner already (at the cost of coins)). Why would you (referring: to anyone who thinks fake votes were already purchased) get fake votes already? Needs to be used the same day.

[/quote] I was assuming until now that fake votes must have been used to save TLM but maybe it was a character ability?

Wow. Lot to read here today. I will chime in too. I have no issue with how anyone is playing. I think, based on my experience with the previous two games, that everyone is playing their game. I see nothing wrong with that and I don't have an issue with Tennessee knowing or being related to the other players, I believe the game is being played honestly. I voted no lynch on Tennessee because, as I said at the time, I didn't think there was enough information for a lynching. That doesn't mean I won't vote for him today. I may. I would like to see this play out a little more. This mafia game is much more complex than the previous two. I loved them both, and I am truly impressed with how Elysium, Madagascarter and Virtuosity have created and managed these games. Hats off to you! But this game, 1 day in the game, is three days in real life. So, again, felt we needed more information. We have three phases of a day and all are 24 hours long. As for the politics, I thought of running but am unsure if I want to do that. I'd like to see what Anaxagore and milnejw say about what they saw out on the town last night. Also, Anaxagore, I voted for you to be Lord of Verona. I think you can be a good leader, but let's dial down the bully a bit. If I have something to do outside, please know it is for the benefit of the town. I stayed home last night, just to make sure that there was no accusations as to what I might have been doing, though I had something I wanted to do.

If I was mafia, I would buy a sword & Fake Role PM. That is 2 items there. Capitalist is best for mafia and shop keeper. I say we go Capitalist when the shopkeeper dies, but immediately after go socialist. All other times we go centralist for neutral damage

Going off the assumption that the mafia has items and the rest of us do not, I have decided to flip and go Socialist for the coming election. I am doing this because: - I want to give more options for voters, not just 2 people going capitalist - I want a chance to beat Anax and he will most likely be chosen if we both run the same way - People seem to want a noncapitalist option, which I will provide

I'm not a dictator imposing anything to anyone. I'm just pressuring people who are probably scums. And not lynching a proven non town, is like not shooting at an ennemy soldier trying to kill you. About Tenessee playing with his family members, i'm completely fine with it as i did it too in the past. About capitalism, i already said, i want one round of capitalism to give some people a chance to acquire more expensive things. You may not realise but some people can't afford a gauntlet under socialism. And i prefer all townies to have a gauntlet event if that means giving something else to the Shop Keeper.
