I am starting to wonder, and bear with me here, if people are typecast into their alignments in these games. I have been town three games in a row, and if I recall correctly, Tennessee has been neutral three games in a row. Is that just a coincidence? I'm sure it is, but I wonder. (I might be losing it.)

[/quote] I get asked this every single game. I used a list randomiser on random.org to generate the roles. I only clicked randomise once (I didn't 'select my favourite' random list). The roles were completely randomly assigned. Part of the reasoning for this, is because I collect extensive data from these Money and Mask games. I'm constantly looking to optimise the system to balance it better for the next game. If I'm deliberately assigning 'stronger' or 'weaker' players to certain roles, then this would completely undermine my statistical conclusions. You can choose to believe me or not (many won't ^^) but when I say I do things randomly, I do. :)

@@Rockbert is very town. Stereotypically so. Mr. Rockbert is a veteran of both world wars, as well as fighter of terrorism at home and abroad. It just wouldn't be right for Mr. Rockbert to be cast in a role where he is forced to be duplicitous and conniving. I support the decision #Rockbertalwaystown

I have faith and trust in your integrity. I love the game, hoping to not lose it this time like I did last time. I don't mind being town, it suits me. :)

i think these role assignments are rigged just like the dice are rigged - there's no other explanation. it is statistically impossible for the outcome to this way if it were really random. :)

I proposed to run for Lord as capitalist but got no comment on it. - Anaxar claims to run as ??? Says he needs coin, so assume as Socialist. - milnejw24 says hes running as capitalist - I asked Virt how many can run at a time - not sure if its limited to 3 players.

Nothing is statistically impossible...

I know they're playing fair and all that; but if I had family getting nearly lynched on day one, when there's no clear reason why - I would try to keep him alive. Don't try and read something in something which doesn't have to be something. It could be, but it doesn't have to be. I also don't think that if he was mafia, he'd have everyone mobilesed to safe him; too risky with respect to getting exposed. Anyway, despite saying that, it is indeed remarkable that he managed to stay alive; I think I put the tally on 5v8 when I cast my vote (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong)? In an A vs B vs C teamgame, you wish to put down the other teams in a stable manner. Therefore, it can be useful for team A (town), to keep some random B (neutral) in game at the start, in case team C (mafia) proves to be quite strong near the end. Having targets lined up is never bad. Also; we don't win conditions for everyone; they might not all be mutually exclusive. That said, I'm looking forward to the painted messages we'll likely get soon enough; I bet there's quite some eager people as out of forum communication isn't permitted
