Dima
sry, this is the correct one
I've been meaning to comment on this map for a long time. It's absolutely beautiful - a masterpiece for sure! The washed-out colours, the clothy texture, the faded illustrations and especially the flags in the non-playable areas, the text labels... all beautiful, very beautiful. Well done Dima! I also think it's great to have a historical map, and one covering such a famous event and time period. The gameplay is cleverly tied in to the historical theme, which I really love
As always, I have a few suggestions - take them or leave them!

We will see if you or anyone else agrees with me I suppose

- In my opinion the minimap text is far too big. It is genuinely difficult to tell which region name, and crucially which region bonus belongs to each area on the minimap.
- Also regarding the minimap: the parentheses "(northern/southern fringe)" are not needed in my opinion - they just add clutter to the minimap space.
- Great Suljuk Empire should be written as "Seljuk".
- There is too much surplus text in general on the map. In my opinion, less is usually more when it comes to map text. I would consider removing "and their surroundings" from the subtitle, "Mini map &" from the minimal heading, and rephrasing the additional bonuses subtext to make it more concise. In fact, I would suggest adding a symbol (maybe a
templar's cross) to Nicosia, Attalia, Marash, and Laodicea, and a different symbol (a
Jerusalem cross?) to Famagusta, Tripoli, Jerusalem, and Damietta. Then replace the additional bonuses text with: "+3 for holding all [insert templar's cross symbol]s or all [insert Jerusalem cross symbol]s". This would greatly reduce excessive text, make the map look cleaner, and even add to the thematic feel.
- The map is very very tall. If after removing some text it is possible to remove some of the extra space in the south, maybe shifting the minimap up and/or removing the minimap header as well, I think it would help convince PC/tablet players to play on the map

- It is slightly unconventional to have a bridge inside a single territory as we see here with Damietta. For a minute I honestly thought you forgot a territory label!

Maybe remove the bridge and place the territory circle so it spans the river there. Or leave the bridge there but just experiment with the circle placement.
- I think it might be slightly confusing which territory name is for which territory in certain spots. Does anyone else agree?
- Mediterranean in your subtitle should be capitalised

Let me know if you agree or disagree with these suggestions. Great map Dima!
