Here is yet another map I have finished. It is the state of Pennsylvania where I grew up.

Feedback please.

I still dont think the regions are defensible enough.... the map is looking great though!

Carefully look at every region. Only 3 of the 16 need 4 territories to defend. One has 5, the rest have 3 and one has 2. I don't think 3 is too many to defend and that is the case for most of the map.

Also this would be a cool capitals map since many of the regions are very similar (5 defended by 3 with a 3 bonus and an interior protected cap).

I gave the regions a lot of thought and think they are good. Not going to get much better.

i recently spoke to Clarke about his maps amd sent me all he could find. One of them was pennsylvania. Seems like a normal map to me. Graphics and design are not over the top, typcal for many maps that were made 10 years ago, but not a nightmare either. I also cant see any problems with gameplay, many small regions similarly to navajo nation, mediterranean, bulgaria, germany etc...

We also could need more USA themed maps. So isnt it worth testing it?

Somebody made a decent work and why should it go to waste?

i propose these gameplay changes. this way there are more big regions and less smallee. so its more balanced.

i would also re draw the map from scratch.

thanks hoodlum, virtuosity and clarke for feedback. i made the few changes:
filled the missing colors, changed the spelling mistake amd made the minimap border thicker.

Also, thanks again to Bischop and Rockwert for the feedback. I experimented a bit more with the background and tried to make it look like the map is actually lying on a table. I made both a grey version and a brownish version.
Not sure if it really looks better, though. Personally, I prefer the grey version because I think the colors fit together more naturally in most cases.
That said, you barely even see the table most of the time anyway. Italy and South America are kind of exceptions since there’s a larger visible area of the table there.
So overall, I’d probably go with the grey version.

The 3 of them are nice, 3 different background (or table) colors: dark brown, gray and light brown...
Me too I'd probably go with the gray table version, but it should be seen on the D12 game interface.
