This game is based of Mortal Engines but you don't have to read it as I will be changing names and the story a little so that you can't guess other players win clauses.
Flavour
Welcome again to yet another futuristic World, it's the year 4400 and much has changed in world. Us today are know as the ancient ones, the people who had such advanced and amazing technology that filled the whole earth. Constantly archaeologist have been digging up technology and trying to make sense of it. What is a See-Dee and how did it hold information? What they did know however, was that that it all ended very badly for the Ancient Ones, in what is recorded in the history books as "The 60 Minute War".
Since then, the world went through another dark age, but humanity survived, but technology didn't. But eventually, people began to figure out this technology. The rules and the physics and began to rebuild the world in a different way. In 4057 London became the first moving city. It was decided that the most sustainable way to live was a way, like a society that had remained constants for thousands of years, like the Eskimos. To fuel these giant cities, London teared apart the country side and towns around it. This caused international panic. Bremen, Hamsterdam, Brighton and Manchester as well as many other cities started building their own moving cities. Over time the fever spread East until news hit the city of Batmunkh Gompa. Batmunkh Gompa was situated in between 2 mountain ranges. The Mayor of Batmunkh Gompa did not agree with moving cities but saw them as a threat. So he built a wall and armoured the wall separating the east from the west. The Tractionists from the Anti-Tractionists.
Many years past and food is becoming scarce for the moving cities. Every settlement on the Great Hunting Ground moves. They live by a system called Municipal Darwinism. Big Cities eat the smaller cities, smaller cities eat the even smaller settlements and even smaller settlements eat the static settlements. But food has become scarce and eyes turn towards the east. In the East, a great leader, Stalker Fang has been preparing her army. She calls it the "Green Storm", with the slogan to "Make the World Green Again."
20 years of stalemate pass, Stalker Fang disappears, no-one knows where, some believe her dead, and the city of Manchester has agreed to host "Peace talks". The new Green Storm leader, General Naga, seems far more accommodating for Peace Talks than Stalker Fang. But can there really be a peaceful resolution, with both factions wanting vastly different outcomes?
Key attributes of this game,
3 factions and neutrals, the third faction wanting to achieve Peace.
Each player has unique win conditions but some players have shared win conditions.
A Winter/ Summer day/night system
A money based system, which can either allow you greater number of votes or allow you to buy goods and services. (The majority of players will get 3 votes to either spend as votes or other items)
The dead can come back to life given the right circumstances and become a "Stalker". (A machine that revives a dead human, but often memories are altered. Put enough robotics in and the body and they are super human.)
Every Winter you will be given 6 coins from me.
A vote costs 2 coins
To open a private chat with someone costs 1 coin (tell me who you want to have a chat with in Winter and I’ll open it up for Summer) You can add as many alive players/ stalkers to this chat as you want.
Bid for multiple services (in Winter phase) (like the Slave Trade/ Stalker Trade/Assassin) and the highest bid will be taken (in the majority of cases).
If you ever find yourself having spent more coins than you own then for every coin you are in debt, the treasury will put that many votes on you.
Most players will automatically put all remaining coins they have left over into their voting. (you can’t save money in war). Business owners will be able to choose how much money they wish to spend on votes.
