For iOS, Android, Windows, and Blackberry?

Should there be a D12 mobile app? (For iOS, of course.) That way, D12 would become more popular, and stuff. Also, D12 users can download this smartphone-friendly version. Is it programmable?

It is definitely programmable. Making apps is not that hard if you know what you're doing. However, it is not really necessary to have an app if you just make the site's design responsive. Something I think is a better option than an app, because for apps you usually have to pay developer's licenses.

From my personal opinion, risk doesn't really work well on smarthpones anyway and as from my personal experience the site already doesn't feel as robust as I would like it to be, I would probably prefer to make the desktop experience more smooth and robust before considering mobile devices.

if someone makes one, make one for ios and android first
windows and blackberry can wait

Just out of curiosity: why specifically an app and not just a website that is more responsive and thus shows well on all kinds of devices.

Not that I know of any way to make Risk run properly on small screens because of the big maps. Like I said, just out of curiosity: why invest money in getting an app in the App/Play Store if we can also just have a website that shows well on mobile phones. That way Windows and Blackberry immediately have access to it as well.

I was not talking about how it is now. But technically speaking making a site more responsive is not that hard. The design aspect is harder.

My question is: if we were to improve the lay-out so it scales better to smaller devices, what is the extra value of an app?
