Hey everyone, recently I have taken a big interest in graphic design/ animation and video editing. I really wanted adobe after affects but realized it was $1,000 US dollars. I got a free program called blender but I cant figure out how to use an alpha channel. Windows Movie maker sucks and Premier/ Vegas are also expensive. Any Ideas?( My main focus for editing is action, I want alpha channels available so I can use "Action Essentials"( action fx effects).

i use Magix movie edit pro. as far as graphic design goes, GIMP does everything PS can do but only free

HitFilm 2 is another good one if you want to put a little more money into it.

I'm not sure exactly what you are looking for or if my suggestion would work for you but I like CyberLink PowerDirector. I found it to be the easiest to use and it's under $100.
