The names I propose for the two maps are just these:
Jungle of Despair Classic (with standard gameplay) and Jungle of Despair Advanced (with special gameplay).

Anyway in order to make the two of them even more recognizable, and avoid any possible confusion when joining games, I propose to add the word 'Advanced' (just for the temple special version) on its thumbnail:

I feel keeping the explanation of "-1 for a temple, +1 for a pair" is just nostalgia for the complicated combinatorial rule that gives the final bonus.
If you just use the right panel with the end result, you can remove most of the text and have a box like the one from "Battle of the Elements" that is super clear.

Which means you could put the minimap with regions on the bottom left.

Bonus: You can also change the bonus for each temple number later if it fits the game play better.

And then you can probably use the same code from the "Battle of the elements" map to get a much less verbose log.
