I think this map (Advanced version) works well with 4 players in the game. I'm enjoying to play 4p cap's, but I'm not sure that all people really understand how it works.
To understand the bonuses well, one must always count how many temples each player holds. Both their own and those of their opponents.
When played with 5 or more players the risk of staying with only 2-troop reinforcement increases... I know it's a bit frustrating! But don't panic: if you hold 2 temples you just need 1 more to avoid the negative bonus, if you hold only 1 temple then give it away to someone else, don't defend it! This also apply to 3p and 4p games, of course, but in those cases the negative bonus is less "dramatic".
In practice who holds one temple can cooperate with someone who holds two temples (and the other way around): making the exchange of one territory profitable for both of them. Tip: if the other guy don't realise the opportunity, then type in the game chat to find an agreement. If someone holds 5 or 6 or even 7 temples then all the others have to cooperate to bring him down, even if might cost something in terms of next reinforcement.
