I make some critics to Hoodlum, in private, concerning the distorted cartographic projection. I mean the Pacific Ocean get so narrowed: Japan and California actually are not so close as they seem in that map. Overall it looks nice but I'm not a fan of Polynesia replacing Papua, unsure about the rivers... Anyway the proposal should be put on the map thread.

Note: in order to maintain the gameplay unchanged Ontario and Greenland have to be connected, not a fan of that diagonal divider between Ontario and Quebec neither.

The second one is preferable to me. Maybe the texts over the ocean should take the colour of the continents they belong to, not the colour of the ocean. I can't understand if Middle East and East Africa can attack each other or not.

Hey everyone. I'm back playing D12. MC is a mess. Wasn't too serious about this site so missed a lot of turns...got my attendance up from 56 to 87 in a week. I'm serious now.

HoodTown is also very cool

Surely much better than Saturn! So why to keep HoodTown locked in the garage and Saturn free in the yard?
Let's test this new one. Perhaps at some point we'll get rid of some of the older and least successful maps.

Anyone from Bulgaria? (real geography dabble)
Bishop requested a 117 territory map, for 9 player caps. (2 days effort) Probably easier to do that with a fantasy map, but i'd done a few recently, wanted to try a real location. here's the attempt
dimensions are good 1024 and height under 700px
27 regions 117 territories bonuses calculated https://dominating12.com/tools

added some usable rivers that were along borders, similar to what i did with france map. it did cause some super region issue, i thought about adding bridges but i changed my mind, and instead redrew some territory changes in the middle somewhere so it wasn't too bad. had airports at one stage too.

I've come across the Bulgaria map quite a few times, the layout looks similar to my Gold Coast map. there was lots of references to go from. there's probably more important place names than the ones i've ended up choosing. i don't know too much about Bulgaria, cept now I know it's part of the Balkans..

themewise i just read somewhere that bulgaria was a battleground for a lot of wars in the past. colour pallete was accidental, looked fine enuff and i didn't fuss too much around with it.

Woowh Hoodlum! Thanks, how can you do that so well, and so quickly??
I was planning to do something myself with the wanted number, in the next months or one year, and you made it just in 2 days...

Thanks for the brief Hood, I'll follow carefully your insrtuctions next time.

As for Battleground Bulgaria, it's quite an open battleground, not bad in the end, but to give it some more 'shape' I would add also some mountains in their actual places, like in the following example, and add one bridge (fixing the bonus of just one region accordingly).

P.S. I provided also an image with the major chock points and the related super-regions.
