PAIRS Tournament

Indeed, honestly I'm more a fan of seeing a ton of variety too. Ended up getting a lot of different maps in the first tourny, but more duplicates in this one, which is what made me bring it up. But not too worried about it whatever way we do it :-) The one map type I've found less interesting for the tournament so far are the fully symmetric ones. Namely: Anchor Bay. Even worse, it's got so many connections. So basically it becomes: who gets more dice to get a lead. I enjoy the complex strategy many maps bring, and pairs only further enhances. A few medium maps have been reasonable. But, yeah, large wouldn't be great really. Maybe a one or two per team just to add some variety, but certainly not interested in a bunch of those maps, as they'd just make it very likely things are decided by initial setup (mainly who goes first, in general). I'll wait a couple days to make sure everything is in order for our team before signing up, but love the tournament. And don't mind any maps, just hopefully not too many of one type.
