THE TRIAL & CONDEMNATION OF 2OFCLUBS
​The heavy oak gavel strikes the magistrate's bench with a crack like thunder, silencing the tense murmurs rippling through the Salem courtroom. Magistrate Stoughton leans forward, his dark robes draped over the bench, eyes fixed coldly upon 2ofclubs.
​Goryh steps into the light, laying forth a relentless string of charges—four direct Accusations stacked beside a damning piece of Evidence. The magistrate tallies the heavy weight of the charges aloud... five... six... seven Marks! The threshold is reached. The court demands satisfaction.
​"Bring forth the accused!" the Magistrate's voice echoes off the timber walls. "By order of the Court of Oyer and Terminer, 2ofclubs, you stand bound by heavy testimony. The law of the Province demands you lay bare your final secret before God and this assembly!"
​With every other card already exposed to the public eye, 2ofclubs steps up to the bench and turns over their fifth and final hidden Tryal card...
​CARD REVEALED: NOT A WITCH!
​A heavy, solemn silence falls over the gallery. With all five Tryal cards now laid face-up on the table, 2ofclubs has no secret cards remaining in reserve.
​Magistrate Stoughton stands, looking down at the fully revealed hand before addressing the silent room:
​"Citizens of Salem! Every card held by the accused has now been brought into the light of the Lord. The court asks the final, binding question: Was 2ofclubs EVER a Witch?"
​The Magistrate examines every scrap of parchment laid face-up on the bench, pauses, and delivers the final verdict:
​"NO."
​"2ofclubs was never a Witch. Not a single trace of the Devil’s mark was ever hidden in this soul. A pure citizen of Salem has been stripped of all life and trial, standing completely innocent before this bench."
​With all five Tryal cards revealed, 2ofclubs is eliminated from the game as a confirmed Town member.
