Presidential Mafia Game

Its on the honor system, but please follow the rules so that the game works. -no screenshots -The forum is closed during the night. -no code from previous games -please do not edit your posts. Just make a new one correcting it. -respect the Moderator, because I could just have you get lynched on the spot :] -[b]The Game[/b] is always correct; the Moderator may not always be correct and may be led to give inaccurate information. But you should trust the Moderator for all other stuff... [spoiler=Background, good to read if you have time] "Good morning, and welcome to what is shaping up to be the most chaotic election cycle this capital has ever seen. If you're just tuning in, tensions are running off the charts following a string of "unfortunate accidents" among political rivals, and rumors of a shadowy mafia groups pulling the strings have everyone from seasoned senators to lowly interns looking over their shoulders. Right now, folks are flooding into the Town Hall, but this isn't your typical rally—it’s turned into a full-blown paranoid tribunal where the public is aggressively demanding a daily daytime vote to publicly oust anyone they think is corrupt. With the daytime mob looking completely unruly, my sources tell me there's already talk of a desperate, shadow election for the Presidency happening every night, driven by the naive hope that whoever takes the oval office might actually have the hidden power to turn the tide against the mob. Even a sudden "accident" won't silence a candidate, because fallen politicians here can apparently stick around in the shadows to cast phantom ballots and pull strings from beyond the grave. All I can say is that there are a lot of dirty hands in this particular pot, so keep your head on a swivel—just keep in mind that whoever gets elected gets a free pass from the public lynching the following day, though the mobsters hiding among you probably don't even realize how useful that shield could be for them yet. [b][u]Game ends when it ends, after a major win condition is met.[/u][/b] You may or may not have to be alive to win. Anything is possible! [b]Kills[/b]: [u][b]No kills Night 1 [/b][/u][b]PMs: [/b]During the day, no PMs are allowed unless the Mod(me) says so. During the night, you may create up to 3 PMs with as many people as you want, dead or alive players. Please include me in all PMs you create. If im not in a PM, then its not legit. All PMs close every night phase, and new ones must be made every night phase. [b]Election:[/b] During the night, players will vote to elect a President in their Role PMs with the Moderator(me). At the deadline, I will post only those that received votes and how many each received, along with who became President. You may vote for yourself. If the front runner is killed, I will make the runner up the President [b]Lynching:[/b] During the day, players may vote to lynch a player in the forum. Player with the most votes is lynched. This follows normal lynching rules. Please [b]BOLD[/b] your votes to make it easier for me to tally. You may switch until the deadline. You may also vote [b]#NO LYNCH[/b]. [u][b]You may not abstain from voting[/b][/u]. There is no penalty for not voting. [b]Being a President:[/b] There may be benefits to becoming a President, who knows? -Also, if someone gets elected President, they are immune to getting lynched the following day phase. [b]The Dead: [/b] Dead players can still post in the public forum during the day and vote to elect a President. Dead players cannot use abilities, become President, nor vote to lynch someone during the day phases. Dead players are allowed to create PMs. [b]Roles vs Names: [/b]Every person’s role includes the name of your role. Your [u]player name[/u]( eg: @@Crywolf) is different from your [u]role name[/u] (eg: @@John Doe). [b]Clarification: [/b]Some abilities might need to be used before a phase start, while others may be processed at the end of a phase. Some may or may not have any abilities at all lol. either works for me. 2;00 would likely allow for more discussion before phase end - just don't wait to vote last minute - - or - - cast votes in private but revealed publicly after phase end
