Thanks everyone for the feedback!

1. Apple currently isn’t allowing me to fully deploy the app until I get some additional info from the owner — that’s why it’s running through TestFlight for now.

2. Huge thanks to Dima for testing and sharing such detailed suggestions!

3. Regarding the medals, you earn them by winning games. For example, in Deathmatch mode, the last player to be defeated can still get second place.

4. Achievements aren’t planned yet, but I really like the ideas about showing player names and colors during timelapse, as well as adding visual cues or animations to highlight where the action is happening — those could really improve clarity!!

5. Regarding making the numbers bigger in timelapse games, I think that it is no need, you can already zoom-in. Didn't try in a tablet tough.
Keep the ideas coming!

Wow. Very nice! :)

Love the timeline feature...good way to learn from others! Hopefully we get some challenging games ahead.   Looking forward to it! :)

Happens only on some maps but anyway: when the map is wide (River basin), the annoying sidebar on the left is across the map in the north-east, you can hide it normally, but in the app the color bar with phases of the turn is across the button. One more time: sidebar is across the map (so you can't work with one territory entirely, unless you hide it), colorbar with turn phases is across its hide button (so you can't hide it on your turn, when you actually need to). So when i need to do something on this concrete map this concrete territory i must always leave the app and go to the browser, where there is that color bar little higher and i can hide the sidebar.

*sidebar on the right side of course

Hi,

Thanks a lot for the detailed explanation — that really helps.

From what you describe, it seems to happen on wider maps (like River Basin and possibly Empires of the Mediterranean), where the sidebar overlaps part of the map, and the turn phase color bar overlaps the sidebar’s hide button. That makes it impossible to hide the sidebar during your turn, which is understandably frustrating.

I've just released version 1.0.1, which adds the capability to track the map size and dynamically adapt the layout width. This should prevent the overlap issues on wide maps.

When you get a chance, could you please update to 1.0.1 and let me know if the issue is resolved?

Also, next time something like this happens, it would be extremely helpful if you could include:

- The id of the game (so I can jump in and see it directly)
- A screenshot showing the issue

That will allow me to reproduce and fix things much faster.
Thanks again for the feedback — really appreciate it.

Best regards,
Francisco

Now it looks like the screen is locked or frozen on wide maps (River basin, Empires of Mediterranean), doesn't let me to zoom in, mowę the map or even type in the chat. It's not my turn so I can't try anything else. Other maps work normally. Sorry I can't add pictures or anything, I'm traveling.
Thanks for your efforts.

But I see now, that the original problem is also on map normal size. It depends if there's a territory in that corner of the map. The sidebar always can't be hidden because of the color bar.

Hi Vojto,

From what you’re describing, it seems the issue is not related to the overall map size, but rather to the presence of a territory in that specific corner. When that happens, the color bar appears to block the sidebar, which then prevents hiding it.

Could you please let me know which device (model + OS) you’re using? That would help us narrow it down further.

Thanks again for reporting this, especially while traveling — really appreciate it.

To be clear that color bar appears always (but only on your turn) and always blocks the button of sidebar, bit only if a territory is blocked I need to hide that bar. - I can never hide it in the app, but only sometimes I need to. In browser the color bar is a little bit higher so it doesn't block the button of the sidebar.

Wow that's great!! :o I'm discovering all this only now, just because usually I don't read the off-topic forums...
I'm gonna try it immediately, big Thanks for this app development, I think we really needed it!
I'll give my feedback eventually.

Finally got it working.
There were two separate things:
- Mediterranean Empire: On that map, the smaller and bigger maps were toggled (wrong way round). That was fixed in 1.0.1.
- The issue you mentioned: That one happened on all maps. It’s fixed in 1.0.2 by removing the sidebar toggle in the app, since we don’t need it and the bar was always covering that button on your turn.

Hope that it works now Vojto!
