Okay, here is a sort of a riddle. It is more of a question. Does 3/3 equall one? Some of you might glance at this and say," Duh. Who is that dumbbell." Others might really look at it though and work it through. Alright, go for it. CAUTION::::DO NOT READ BELOW UNTILL YOU TRY THIS ONE. NO CHEATERS.
















Alright, let's work it through. So let's break it down. 3/3 means 3 out of 3. Now what does 1 out of 3 equall....... right, .33333333 and so on. so what does 2 out of 3 equall....... correct, .666666 and so on. So looking at this, what does 3 out of 3 equall......., .9999999999999999 and so on. So let me ask the question again, does 3/3 really equall 1?

You assume that 1/3 equals .33 repeating, but it doesn't. .33 repeating is a decimal base representation of 1/3. With a 1/3 base, 1/3 is represented as 10. No repeating numbers. 

If you cut a piece of pie into 3 pieces, does 0.0000000001 of it disappear?

That was fun ds One final remark, 0.99999.. repeating indefinetly does equal to 1. Here is the proof: if 0.99999.. is a real number, than it should be the biggest real number that is not bigger then 1; which is actually nothing but 1! Its kind of a different representation only. Good old college days...
