I went for a different approach on the web search for ideas... now there's nothing really fearsome or dominating about actual Batter, so I searched for Dominator.
(Which ironically shows as a spelling error on Dominating 12)
I got a whole load of motorbikes and computer games, but there was an especially nasty looking weapon called a Psycho-Pass Dominator, so I threw a few effects onto it to see if it would fit your status and although it looks okay at 412px X 412px it took a lot of tweeking to get it to look anything viewable at 100px X 100px.

Anyway, here's my idea of direction.

I like the Bishop's one. But how about, instead of a baseball ball, a risk map globe?

Then perhaps add an abstract elk on the kids' cap.

This subordinate is moving away before someone says that's too much detail to fit in 100 by 100px.

Well, I enjoyed where this thread went and appreciate all the effort that people put forth. Putting things to a vote seems like a lot of trouble for a busy Dominator who's about to defend his throne from a horde of salivating rabble. So I went ahead and found an avatar I like based on the abstract elk theme, which I appreciate because of the degree of separation from my moniker. Thanks for starting that train of thought Hood. But just to give pancakes their due, I have made Cheeky's haiku my signature for now.
