maths conundrum

The last few have been a bit easy so try this one, based on the first two maths problems can you solve the third?

4+3=7

8+6=2

4-6=

i bad in math.i think it 12.is it true?

LOL, way to go thaithai. Not only is your math getting better but your English as well.

Maybe in the future we can have like a built in riddle thing where people type their answer without anyone else seeing it.

i learn java ,so i know bit.8+6=12+2=0+2
4-6=0-2=12-2=10

Well your maths was spot on you worked out I was using a 12 number system that returned to 1 afterwards but you didn't work out what the number system represents.

Its not really a riddle any more but if anyone can work out what the number system represents post it before the end of the week

The answer was the numbers represented a 12 hour clock, not that it matters now thaithai ruined it by being a smart arse! lol
