Does upgrading your rank impact game play at all? Thanks!

Is there an advantage to upgrading your rank?

It doesn't change anything whatsoever in the game programming or how it will play, all players regardless of rank will have the same tools to work with and will have the same odds of success / failure depending on their luck and skill.
It doesn't even affect how many points you will win or lose to/from other ranks, your total points determine that.
What it does give you is respect for your achieved rank and tends to get you invited to more and better games.
You may find that in trying to increase your rank you will find the 5 game maximum too slow for you to increase your points and tokens and like a lot of players who want to improve, you'll probably end up buying a premium membership to get unlimited games and more tokens by not having to use so many in joining games.
What gets you most respect though, is a fair & sporting attitude with honour!
