Nostalgic Games

I fancied starting a thread where players can put a link to some early games played with now high rankers when they were basics, a sort of Then & Now thing.

What I love and we'll all see about these nostalgic games is the players (not mentioning names) that call other players bad names and tell them how useless they are and then you look back on the game a year later and see the name callers as still Basic and the receiver a Lieutenant or higher. LOL!
Can you remember what ranks you were back then guys?
Of course Sygma would have been Basic on the first game!
Keep sharing these they are great to see!
If we hear from the top players e.g. Vexer, I would imagine that even his first game would have been awesome as he was a Risk Programmer back then too, I guess?

One of my first games of risk was on this site. I didn't know what cards meant of how to get them or what they did.

Ultra's, I was in that game too and had a rare complete Internet shut down, I had a few choice words I wanted to use, but refrained! Another 2 missed turns to add to my collection, GRRR!

LOL. First game chat is hilarious. I won though  I won't post the rest because it was a long term game (we didn't know live games existed) and our chat was completely unfiltered. Pretty sure I'd lose chat for what I said in that one.

my first game was a 2 person game with jwg and he kicked my but as i tried to figger out how to play here, but my second was more fun and frustrating as the server was from ww2 era and was nothin but junk.

d12 has come a long way in a short time as far as fixing all the glitches and crappy servers

It is great to see games from the early days before the 3 card turn in beta and pre new server. It would be interesting to see ranks of the players as they were, but unfortunately the current system only shows ranks as they are. Great to hear from one of the first few players here. I assume you were?

I was just sent this one by Sygmassacre, it was from my pre-premium login as Lance Corporal aeronautical... what a guy, everybody used to beat him... I mean me, LOL.

This was 27 March 2013, I'd been here about 4 months and improved very little. Some players now are masters after 4 days here!
It is still nice to see nickdabubble from Devon, UK still here and active, but whatever happened to ERIN_AHHHHH, she was a nice person? Thanks for this Syg!
