2014 World Cup

Hey Everyone

is there anyone here that is really looking forward to this 2014 world cup for soccer? What are your thoughts about it? Who's your favorite team? Who do you think will qualify the rest of the teams?

United States needs a new goalie and then we're good to go.

We have to play Mexico home and away to qualify.
Last time we had Bahrain and made it and were the only unbeaten team in the entire comp.
Not confident of making it this time around though but you never know.
They are in disarray and have just fired the coach so we have a chance...maybe
Otherwise I'll be cheering for England and Spain

I am cheering for iceland, but if they fail. I cheer for italy, netherlands, and germany.

yes. someone with the screen name 'westchester' would definately root for those teams.

I'm English, so i'll obviously be cheering for England - but we're bobbins and wont win it.
The WC has been held 4 times is South America and a South American team has won it every time.
So i'll say Brazil will win. Spain, Germany and Argentina to be the other semi-finalists.
Just as long as the French dont win it!

Now im definitely cheering for England and Spain since we lost 9-3 on aggregate

Sucky draw for England. We'll beat Costa Rica, but Italy and Uruguay are tough.
They'll be dancing in the streets of Paris seeing France's group though - happy now Platini?
