Yeah I know. There is something I want to know about maps can I just get any pic off the internet to use as my out line?

just don't take a copyrighted image unless you are obscuring it so much that it is unrecognizable. Most people don't care if you use their image. the ones that do care usually put a watermark on the image -- like they put the site name into the image. if the site says anything about stock photos and you don't see the word free you can assume that you cannot use the image.

if you take any material from somewhere, please put a reference about the original creator/place. Thats not very hard, nad is nothing but showing respect for the work.. Suppose someone uses the map you create here, "obscuring it" a bit, and saying that it mine?

found out that it was Fendi who anonymously made this map... so modest of her. But she has lost the original file so it can't be finished.

I am going to try to redo this one.

fendi says she has some early files, but not the last version. I'll see if it can help. plus you might want to ask noxon if he is already working on a europe map. i suspect he is but hasn't told anyone.

That would be great if you could get an earlier version.

OK I am going to finish this map but I would like to know if I should keep the area between Poland and Germeny.....it looks weird haveing an empty space right there you can look at the map through the link on the first page

Someone said that Poland and Germeny were to big so Fendi made that little empty spot.....but I think they where exactly as big as they should have been. at the moment I am just resizeing and reoutlineing. Fendi still had the texture so I am just going to try and make it exactly the same but move the words so you can put the territory circles down.

Oh and what do you guys think about the game play should I leave it just the way it is?

I have also add the text please correct me if any of the names are messed up and I got rid of the weird area between Poland and Germany. I have also played around with the darkness of the colors and the dark spots in the background but I couldn't get the really papery effect Fendi got. I do not have the region bonuses on this map I am not sure how to put them on the map I could try doing what fendi did but I don't know where to start. Please coment on the map.

I like it. You are still working on map I know but let me tell what I think is wrong for now. 1)Connection lines I dont like them, 2)yugoslavia dont exist since many years. 3) In south balkan you have mix many countries and you call them greece. 4)Part of turkey should be on map. 5)Its europe map what is gotland doing there? 6)Finland should be able to attack st petersburg. 7)Regions: Blue, Brown and Orange need to change. 8)In Lithuania you should divide Kaliningrad.

YOU COULD HAVE SAID ALL THAT BEFORE I TOATALLY REDID THE OUTLINE! I asked people to comment on the older version. It sounds like you want me to toatally change the map! Why was this so wrong before and nobody said anything!? Maybe it's in a different time period!?

just put some color in turkey (istanbul) and do it so finland can attack st petersburg. Rest is ok
