Ok well you seem to put a lot of time and effort into this, so I will help as much as I can.

First of all, you can put the map RIGHT into your post. Click the sheild icon, then click the photo icon and past the direct link to the image (ends in jpg) then hit ok. Should look like this

For some reason clicking to photobucket or image shack gets tiresome, probably because it's slow and opens lots of tabs haha.

Ok you need to move the WHOLE thing up about 50 pixels. That will help get the bottom continent less squished.

The lines are too pixellated. Check out the DXII map making guide for my last post, it goes over border creation in some detail.

Ok for gameplay, there are serious issues.
You can't cut off multiple territories from one territory and you have done this several times.

Like Green, where the territory is to the west that connects to red. If you control that territory, it blocks off 3 more territories to the west! So you basically get 4 territories for just holding 1 once you control them all.

Same for 3 to the west in Orange, and 2 to the west on red. The one on red is ok, as just blocking off 1 territory one time can add to gameplay for some people.

Okay, obviously I have a lot to do but started with moving the regions up and changing the dotted line connections. I need to know if they look decent so I can fix all the borders and eliminate "messiness".

Image still looks blurry when uploaded...

Hmmm... I like the concept but I think there are some problems here... The biggest one I see is... What's the big red island for in a 3p caps game? Just card farming? I think this map could use at least 3 more connections.

Also, the small island... is it red? orange? another region?
Living proof that everyone can be a brilliant great good decent cartographer.

@Psymon, the big red island is essentially the "battleground" in 3player caps. Without it, all the islands would connect. I can always add more connections if you would like. Also, I changed some colors and textures to make it more obvious(will be in the next update). The little island is a seperate region.

I'd have to agree with PsymonStark, the game-play looks a bit weird..In my opinion, if you want to create a 3p-game map then it should consists of small regions and maybe a big one for card farming..
Votazap wrote:
The three smaller regions have 7 places while the red one has 14(for card farming). Any suggestions Fendi?

Big update for borders and some textures. The red region is blurred on image shack but not on the actual file.(probably because I flattened it to get to jpeg format.

Please comment and make suggestions (and yes the borders still need a lot of work)

The Island Name labels should be closer to their represented Island, it's a little confusing to see which is which, even if just for gameplay reference.
This was also asked by PsymonStark in Post #19, Selphine Island, is it part of orange, red, a different bonus region or a neutral region. The island has a different colour and appears to me to be a different region, but is still similar to orange?
Also your map currently has 36 territories and offers an advantage to the first player to act (see spoiler if for explanation).

Before you progress with anymore time consuming graphics, it might be worth running a few scenarios of game play through your mind as you look at your map. As you state, it is designed for 3p Cap's. Therefore, very similar in concept to Caribbean, which is I think the only map at D12 that allows 3 Capitals to all have troops off their Capital and still be defended. This is due to only 1 entry point to all 3 Caps and single channel territories en route to most of the cap's. Is this a concept you wish to achieve, or do you have a different idea in mind?

Thanks for all the suggestions aeronautic. I didn't even take into account the "first to-go" advantage dilemma or stalemates. I will work on reconfiguring the map and hopefully post an update later this evening. 1. ABOUT THE BROWN REGION(that is a seperate mini region).
2.: I only put the names up to show what I had in mind, they wont stay there.

Giving each area two borders makes this more of a 3p DEATHMATCH map and less of a 3p CAPITALS map tbh. I would do away with the second border, and like aero suggested, split up the large central region.

This map will probably play out somewhat like Caribbean, except with no one stuck in the crossroads.

New update: Texture changes, middle region divided(will continue to add more connections and possibly space them out, whatever people want). Also added a yellow divider line just for fun(not sure if its needed, will prob take it out).

LOl and accidently put a region name on a connection line(region names will eventually be moved to a minimap)
Also, forgot to make the "d12 circles" layer visible.

@Ultra, are you saying you think I should only have one connection per smaller region?
